Full Body Laser Hair Removal (Front and Back) in Mirdif, Dubai

Villa 44C, 83rd Street, Mirdif Medically supervised +971 4 268 8226

Full body laser hair removal front and back in Mirdif, Dubai means exactly what it says, although clinics rarely spell out where one half ends and the other begins. At Dermabloom Medical Center, Villa 44C, 83rd Street, Mirdif, we list both halves in writing before you pay, including the borders in between. To book, call 04 268 8226 or message +971 56 598 6039.

This page covers the geography of the package: what each half holds, where they meet, and why the back half deserves more attention than it usually gets.

The Front Half

  • Chest and stomach, including the midline below the navel.
  • Underarms.
  • Arms, front and back of the limb, with hands where you want them.
  • Front of the legs, thighs and shins, with feet where you want them.
  • Bikini area, at the level named in your quote.
  • Front of the neck, where included.

The Back Half

  • Upper back, mid back and lower back to the waistband.
  • Shoulders and shoulder caps.
  • Nape and the back of the neck.
  • Back of the legs, hamstrings and calves.
  • Perianal area, where your bikini level includes it.

Two zones sit in both halves by nature. Arms wrap around, and so do legs, so we treat each limb fully rather than splitting it down an imaginary line.

Where Front Meets Back

Three borders cause almost every pricing surprise, and clinics rarely mention them.

  • The flanks. The sides of your torso between ribs and hip sit between chest and back, and quotes differ on which side they land.
  • The shoulder caps. These sit on a junction of chest, back and arm. Left out, they leave a visible patch between three treated zones.
  • The hips and the waistband line. Where the lower back stops and the bikini area starts varies by clinic.

Ask for each of those three named explicitly. We mark and photograph them at the first session, so no border ends up treated on one visit and skipped on the next.

The Back Half Is the One People Underestimate

Most people budget mentally for the front, because that is the half they see. Then two things surprise them.

Firstly, there is usually more hair back there than expected. You cannot inspect your own back or the backs of your legs properly, so estimates come from memory and old photographs rather than observation.

Secondly, the back half is the part you cannot maintain yourself. Shaving your own back is impractical and reaching the backs of your thighs is awkward, which makes permanence worth more there than anywhere on the front.

So we examine the posterior half in good light at consultation and photograph it with your consent. Frequently that conversation changes what someone buys — sometimes upward, and sometimes not at all.

Why Two Appointments

Treating everything in one pass runs close to three hours. Beyond the discomfort, a long appointment tempts rushing, and rushed coverage is how patchy results happen.

So we split by position rather than by clock. You lie face-up for one visit and face-down for the other, usually within the same week or two, at roughly ninety minutes each.

That split has a practical benefit too. Each position gets treated properly while you are comfortable, rather than turning you over at the ninety-minute mark when patience has already gone. Both halves stay on the same six-to-eight-week cycle, so the course still finishes together.

Can I Buy Just the Front?

You can, and occasionally it suits someone. Usually it does not, for the reason above: the front is the half you can manage yourself with a razor, while the back is the half you cannot.

Front-only makes sense if your hair genuinely sits on the front, if budget forces a choice and the front bothers you more, or if you want to test how your skin responds before committing further.

Otherwise, buying the front and leaving the back is spending money on the easier problem. We will say so at consultation rather than afterwards.

One Course, Different Settings

Each zone gets its own fluence, since a shin, an underarm, a décolletage and a lower back tolerate very different things. We never carry one setting across a body to save time, and we place test patches on the demanding sites rather than a convenient one.

Device choice follows your skin. Nd:YAG 1064nm suits Fitzpatrick IV to VI, because the longer wavelength cuts competing absorption by melanin in the skin itself. Alexandrite and diode suit types I to V. IPL does not suit darker skin at all.

A Note on Why the Hair Is There

Hair across many areas at once is worth assessing rather than simply treating, since polycystic ovary syndrome explains most widespread growth in women. Our main full body page covers that properly, along with what it changes about your result. Please raise it at consultation, because an unmanaged driver means new hair after an otherwise excellent course.

What It Will Not Do

  • Treat grey, white, blonde or red hair, which on a whole body often means a mixed result.
  • Remove fine, pale downy hair.
  • Include your face, which prices separately.
  • Reach mucosa or the areola, ever.
  • Lighten skin anywhere, and we decline requests to.
  • Clear existing marks, veins, scars or keratosis pilaris.
  • Work on tanned skin.
  • Come undone. Treated follicles do not return.

Your Course

  1. Consultation. We list both halves and all three borders in writing, name your bikini level, examine and photograph the posterior half with your consent, and check skin type, tan, moles, medication and any hormonal signs.
  2. Test patches on the demanding sites, then a short wait.
  3. Front appointment, roughly ninety minutes face-up with cooling throughout.
  4. Back appointment, face-down, within the same week or two.
  5. Course. Six to eight rounds, six to eight weeks apart, over nine to fourteen months.
  6. Maintenance, occasional and zone-dependent.

A female practitioner performs the treatment, and a chaperone is available on request without needing a reason.

Before and After

Before: shave every zone in that visit’s half, the day before or the morning of your appointment. If you cannot reach your own back, we will shave it here — just mention it when booking. Stop waxing, plucking and epilating four weeks beforehand. Avoid sun, self-tan and spray tan for two to four weeks, and wash any product off completely. Arrive with underarms free of deodorant. Finally, tell us about isotretinoin, photosensitising medication, pregnancy, breastfeeding, keloid history, circulation problems and any herpes history before bikini work.

Afterwards: expect redness and small bumps around the follicles for a few hours to a day. Cool compresses and a bland moisturiser settle it. Meanwhile skip gym, sauna, steam, swimming, hot tubs and hot baths for a full 48 hours. Avoid deodorant, tight leggings, underwiring, backpacks and synthetic fabrics for a day. Keep SPF 50 on any skin that sees sun. Shedding over one to three weeks is normal, and it is not regrowth. Above all, ask someone to check your back, or use a mirror, since you cannot see that half yourself.

Risks

Common and expected: redness, perifollicular swelling, stinging, and shedding of treated hairs over the following weeks.

Less common: post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, temporary hypopigmentation, and folliculitis. Treating a whole half at once means irritation shows in several places rather than one.

Uncommon but more consequential: burns, blistering and scarring, usually from treating tanned skin. Certain sites need particular care: the shin sits thin over bone, the upper back and shoulders rank among the classic raised-scarring sites, and photodamaged décolletage skin tolerates less than expected. One risk belongs to this page specifically — anything that goes wrong on the posterior half is a thing you cannot see. Report blisters, open areas or slow-healing spots promptly, and ask someone to look if you are unsure.

Who We Cannot Treat

Laser does not suit pregnancy, recently tanned or sunburned skin, skin carrying tanning product, active infection, open wounds or ulcers, inflamed lesions, an active or undiagnosed rash, or a photosensitivity disorder. We also work around tattoos, the areola, mucosa, varicosities and any pigmented lesion rather than treating over them.

Please raise these before booking: breastfeeding, diabetes, neuropathy, venous insufficiency or previous leg ulceration; a keloid tendency; recurrent boils in the groin or underarms; vitiligo or another pigmentary disorder; any herpes simplex history; and recent isotretinoin, photosensitising medication or anticoagulants. Additionally, mention any mole anywhere that looks new, growing, irregular or changing — including on your back, where you may not have noticed one. See skin lesion excision.

Price

Front and back together costs considerably less than the two halves bought separately, and far less than zone by zone. Before paying, get three things in writing: both zone lists, the three borders named, and the bikini level the price assumes. Dermabloom quotes a firm price at consultation with the device named — call 04 268 8226. UAE health insurance does not cover cosmetic hair removal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as the front and what counts as the back?

Front covers chest, stomach, underarms, bikini and the front of the neck. Back covers upper, mid and lower back, shoulders, nape, the backs of the legs and the perianal area where your level includes it. Arms and legs wrap around, so we treat each limb fully rather than splitting it down an imaginary line.

Which half do the flanks belong to?

It varies by clinic, which is exactly why you should ask. The sides of the torso between ribs and hip sit between chest and back, and quotes differ on where they land. The shoulder caps and the hip-to-waistband line cause the same confusion. Get all three named explicitly before you pay, here or anywhere.

Why do you split it into two appointments?

Because everything in one pass runs close to three hours, which is uncomfortable and tempts rushing — and rushed coverage is how patchy results happen. We split by position instead: face-up for one visit, face-down for the other, roughly ninety minutes each, usually within the same week or two. Both halves stay on the same cycle.

Does splitting it cost more or take longer overall?

Neither. The price covers the course rather than the number of visits, and both halves run on the same six-to-eight-week schedule, so the whole course still finishes together. You simply attend twice per round instead of once, and each visit is far more comfortable than a single long one.

Can I buy only the front?

You can, though it rarely makes sense. The front is the half you can manage yourself with a razor, while the back is the half you cannot reach. Front-only suits you if the hair genuinely sits on the front, if budget forces a choice, or if you want to test how your skin responds first. Otherwise it means paying for the easier problem.

How do I know how much hair is on my back?

You probably do not, which is the point. Most people estimate from memory and old photographs rather than observation, and there is usually more there than expected. We examine the posterior half in good light at consultation and photograph it with your consent, so you can see it properly and measure progress later.

Do I have to shave my own back before the appointment?

It needs shaving the day before or the morning of treatment, because the laser targets the follicle rather than surface hair. If you cannot reach it, we will do it here — mention it when you book. Shave only the zones in that visit’s half, since you attend separately for front and back.

Is my face included?

No, and that holds at essentially every clinic. Facial hair behaves differently, carries a real risk of paradoxical hypertrichosis, and needs its own consultation and consent, so it prices separately. Ask for the exclusions in writing before you pay, whichever clinic you use.

Which bikini level does the price assume?

Ask, because this is where quotes diverge most. A package saying “bikini” may mean only the line a swimsuit exposes while you assumed Brazilian, and the price difference is substantial. Perianal treatment also sits inside some quotes and outside others, and it belongs to the back half when included.

Do you use the same settings across my whole body?

Never. A shin, an underarm, a décolletage and a lower back tolerate very different things, so each zone gets its own fluence. Test patches go on the demanding sites rather than a convenient one. Carrying a single setting across a body to save time is the shortcut that causes most whole-body burns.

What should I watch for afterwards on my back?

Blisters, open areas and anything slow to heal — and ask someone to look, or use a mirror, because you cannot see that half yourself. This is the one risk specific to treating the posterior half. Redness and small bumps for a few hours to a day are expected, as is shedding over one to three weeks.

How long does the whole course take?

Nine to fourteen months, across six to eight rounds spaced six to eight weeks apart. That spacing cannot be compressed, because only follicles in the active growth phase respond to any given session. Most people see a clear difference after three or four rounds, well before the course finishes.

Should I get my hormones checked first?

Worth raising at consultation, yes. Hair across many areas at once deserves assessing rather than simply treating, and polycystic ovary syndrome explains most widespread growth in women. Our main full body page covers the assessment properly. An unmanaged driver means new hair appears after an otherwise excellent course.

Laser hair reduction is a medical procedure. A licensed medical practitioner must see you face to face and assess your skin first. The accurate term is permanent hair reduction rather than permanent removal, and laser does not put treated hair back. Laser does not affect grey, white, blonde or red hair, nor fine vellus hair, so whole-body results are frequently mixed. Package contents vary between clinics: confirm in writing which zones sit in each half, where the flanks, shoulder caps and waistband fall, which bikini level the price assumes, and that the face prices separately. Widespread coarse terminal hair in women may reflect an underlying hormonal cause, most commonly polycystic ovary syndrome; laser treats the hair rather than the cause. Dermabloom does not offer skin lightening of any kind. We never treat scalp hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, the areola, mucosa or pigmented lesions, and we do not treat during pregnancy, on recently tanned skin, or over an active or undiagnosed rash. Report any blister, open area or slow-healing spot promptly, including on areas you cannot see. Darker skin types carry a higher risk of pigmentary change. Nothing on this page is a diagnosis. Laser does not suit everyone, and results vary between individuals. Dermabloom Medical Center — DHA Licence No. [INSERT DHA LICENCE NUMBER].
