Profhilo Face in Mirdif, Dubai is delivered through just ten injection
points — five on each side, at anatomically defined landmarks — rather than spread across the
face like a mesotherapy treatment. That technique is the whole reason it works the way it
does. At Dermabloom Medical Center, Villa 44C, 83rd Street, Mirdif, Dr Sarah Magdy performs
it. Call 04 268 8226.
The right patient for this treatment is specific: someone whose facial structure is still
good but whose skin has lost quality — dull, thin, no longer bouncing back, with early
softening along the jawline. If what you actually need is volume, this is the wrong treatment
and filler is the right one.

devices administered following a face-to-face consultation, and are not suitable for
everyone.
The Ten Points — and Why They Are Where They Are
This is the detail that separates bio-remodelling from every other injectable, and almost
no clinic explains it.
Rather than depositing product wherever the skin looks tired, the treatment uses five
Bio Aesthetic Points per side of the face. Each is anatomically chosen for
two reasons: it sits in a location where the product can diffuse widely through the
subcutaneous plane, and it avoids the major vessels and nerves.
The five landmarks per side correspond to:
- The malar prominence — the projecting point of the cheekbone
- The nasal base region — beside the ala
- The pre-auricular area — in front of the ear, near the tragus
- The mandibular angle — the corner of the jaw
- The chin region — along the anterior mandible
Because the product spreads from each of these, ten injections treat the whole mid and
lower face. Fewer needle entries means less bruising, less trauma and a shorter appointment
than a mesotherapy-style booster covering the same area.
It also means the technique is not improvised. If a provider is injecting bio-remodelling
product in dozens of places across your face, they are not using the protocol the product was
designed around.
How the Product Works
Most injectable hyaluronic acid is chemically cross-linked so it holds its shape. This one
is not. It is a thermally stabilised hybrid complex of high and low molecular weight
hyaluronic acid, with no chemical cross-linking agent.
The two fractions do different jobs. The low molecular weight portion releases relatively
quickly and stimulates fibroblasts; the high molecular weight portion holds the complex
together and provides sustained hydration as it slowly breaks down. The result is progressive
improvement in hydration, elasticity and firmness — without adding volume anywhere.
What It Improves on the Face
- Dull, dehydrated skin — the most consistent result, and the reason it
suits this climate - Loss of bounce and elasticity — skin that no longer springs back when
pinched - Fine crepey texture across cheeks and lower face
- Early jawline softening — improved tissue quality gives a subtly
cleaner jaw outline - Skin that absorbs light rather than reflecting it
- Overall facial skin quality, which is what people notice without being
able to name it
What It Does Not Do
- Add volume or restore contour. Flat cheeks, a recessed chin or hollow
temples need filler. - Lift the face. Improved skin quality reads as a mild tightening effect
— it is not a lift, and significant laxity will not respond. - Remove wrinkles. Dynamic lines need
botulinum
toxin; deep static lines need resurfacing or filler. - Treat under-eyes or lips. The injection protocol deliberately avoids
both. Under-eye concerns need
separate
assessment. - Fix acne scarring. That needs
microneedling. - Clear pigmentation or melasma. Those need pigment-directed
treatment.
Are You the Right Candidate?
Well suited if you:
- Are roughly late twenties to fifties with reasonable underlying facial structure
- Have skin that looks tired, dull or papery rather than deflated
- Want change nobody can point to
- Have had filler and feel the shape is right but the skin quality is not
- Are nervous about injectables and want something that cannot alter your proportions
- Live in this climate and have watched your skin change since arriving
Poorly suited if you:
- Have significant volume loss — you will find the result underwhelming
- Have marked skin laxity or jowling, where surgical assessment is more honest
- Want a visible difference within days
- Are looking for a one-off treatment; this is a two-session protocol
Your Appointment
- Assessment. Skin quality, hydration, elasticity, laxity and underlying
structure — and specifically whether your issue is quality or volume, because that decides
everything. - Plan and consent. Confirmation of the two-session protocol, expected
outcome and cost. - Mapping. The ten points marked from anatomical landmarks.
- Treatment. One injection at each point in the correct subcutaneous
plane. Ten to fifteen minutes — genuinely quick, because there are only ten entries. Numbing
cream is available. - Second session at four weeks. Not optional; one session is not the
protocol. - Review and maintenance at around six months.
The Blebs, and Why the Face Is Easier Than the Body
Each of the ten points holds a meaningful amount of product, so immediately afterwards you
will have visible raised lumps at each site. They are the product, and they are expected.
On the face they typically flatten within a few hours as the complex diffuses — usually
gone or nearly gone the same day, occasionally lingering into the next morning. That is
noticeably faster than
body treatment, where
thicker skin means 24 to 48 hours.
Still, do not book this on the morning of an event. Allow a day, ideally two.
Timeline
- Hours 0–24. Blebs flattening; occasional small bruises at entry
points. - Weeks 1–3. Skin starts feeling more hydrated and comfortable.
- Week 4. Second session.
- Weeks 6–8. Peak result. Judge it here, not earlier.
- Around 6 months. Typical duration before maintenance, sometimes
longer.
Combining It With Other Treatments
This works well alongside other treatments, and sequencing matters:
- With filler. Complementary rather than competing — filler restores
structure, bio-remodelling improves the skin over it. Usually done at separate appointments
so any swelling can be attributed correctly. - With botulinum toxin. No conflict. Commonly scheduled on separate
visits or with a short gap. - With microneedling or peels. Leave two weeks either side, so the skin
is not being asked to recover from two things at once. - Instead of classic boosters. Where firmness and elasticity matter more
than pure hydration. See
HA skin
boosters for that comparison.
Risks
Common and expected: injection blebs for hours, small bruises at entry
points, mild tenderness and slight swelling.
Less common: persistent small nodules; a bleb that takes longer to settle
in thinner skin; infection at an injection point; and rarely an inflammatory reaction.
Delayed-onset nodules are uncommon but recognised with any hyaluronic acid product.
Rare: vascular complications. The defined injection points are chosen
partly to avoid major vessels, and volumes per point are modest, so risk is lower than with
facial filler — but it is not zero, which is why this belongs with a medical injector rather
than being treated as a facial.
It is reversible. Being hyaluronic acid, it can be dissolved with
hyaluronidase if ever needed, and we keep it on site. That is a real advantage over
collagen
stimulators, which cannot be dissolved at all.
Contact us for any lump persisting beyond a few days, and immediately for
severe or increasing pain, skin colour change, or spreading redness, heat or fever.
Who Should Not Have It
Not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; have an active skin
infection, inflamed acne or cold sore on the face; have a known allergy to hyaluronic acid; or
have a history of severe allergic reactions.
Discuss before booking if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet
medication; have an autoimmune or inflammatory condition; have a history of keloid scarring;
have had a previous reaction to any hyaluronic acid product; have had recent vaccination or
dental work; or have significant facial laxity, where this will not deliver what you are
hoping for.
Aftercare
- Do not massage or rub the injection points for 24 hours — let the blebs settle
naturally. - No makeup for 12 hours.
- No gym, sauna, steam or hot yoga for 24 hours.
- No facials, peels or microneedling for two weeks.
- No alcohol for 24 hours.
- Sleep on your back the first night.
- Daily sunscreen — the treatment improves your skin, and Dubai’s UV is what degraded it
in the first place.
Profhilo Face Price in Dubai
Facial bio-remodelling in Dubai typically runs around AED 1,500 to AED 2,500 per session,
with two-session course pricing commonly quoted from about AED 2,400 upward depending on
clinic and product.
Always ask for the two-session course price rather than a single-session figure, because
one session is not the protocol and quoting it that way understates the real cost. Dermabloom
quotes a firm price and plan at consultation with the product named — call
04 268 8226. Confirm the product is UAE-registered. Cosmetic
treatment is not covered by UAE health insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many injections does the treatment involve?
Ten — five per side, at anatomically defined Bio Aesthetic Points. Each is chosen
both to let the product diffuse widely through the subcutaneous plane and to avoid
major vessels and nerves. That is why ten injections can treat the whole mid and lower
face, and why the appointment takes ten to fifteen minutes.
Will it lift my face or fill my cheeks?
No. It improves hydration, elasticity and firmness, which reads as a mild
tightening — but it adds no volume and it is not a lift. Flat cheeks, a recessed chin
or hollow temples need filler, and significant laxity or jowling needs surgical
assessment. If you need volume, this is the wrong treatment and you will be told
so.
How much does it cost in Mirdif, Dubai?
Facial bio-remodelling in Dubai typically runs AED 1,500 to AED 2,500 per session,
with two-session course pricing commonly from around AED 2,400. Always ask for the
course price rather than a single-session figure, since one session is not the
protocol. Call 04 268 8226 for a firm quote with the product named.
Will I have visible lumps, and how long do they last?
Yes — each of the ten points holds a meaningful amount of product, so raised blebs
are visible immediately afterwards. On the face they typically flatten within a few
hours as the product diffuses, sometimes lingering into the next morning. That is
faster than body treatment, where thicker skin means 24 to 48 hours. Still allow a
day or two before an event.
Can it be dissolved if I change my mind?
Yes. It is hyaluronic acid, so hyaluronidase will dissolve it, and we keep it on
site. That is a genuine advantage over collagen stimulators such as PLLA and CaHA,
which cannot be dissolved and remain in the tissue until they resorb over years.
Can I have it under my eyes or in my lips?
No — the injection protocol deliberately avoids both areas. Under-eye concerns need
separate assessment, since the causes of dark circles and hollowing vary and filler is
only appropriate for some of them. Lips need their own dedicated treatment. Neither is
part of this protocol.
Can I combine it with filler or botox?
Yes, and they complement each other — filler restores structure while
bio-remodelling improves the skin over it, and toxin treats movement lines. They are
usually scheduled at separate appointments so that any swelling can be attributed
correctly. Leave two weeks either side of microneedling or peels.
When will I see the result, and how long does it last?
Skin starts feeling more hydrated within one to three weeks, the second session is
at four weeks, and the peak result is at six to eight weeks — judge it then rather
than earlier. It typically lasts around six months, sometimes longer, after which
maintenance is recommended.
